The first step in a fit/gap analysis is to help the client clearly identify his problem and understand his business processes. The next is to fit a solution to the identified gap, using the knowledge garnered in step one to tailor a solution that perfectly meets each client's needs.
The other role a fit/gap analysis plays is to ensure that Data Net is indeed the right organization to help a client with a particular problem.
